Welcome to Impact by Stories.

The purpose of the community is to share practices and insights of working with storytelling. You are welcome if you use storytelling in any way, whether you are trying to master it or, like me, trying to understand how it works.

We are looking for people who are passionate for stories, you might be a performer, strategist, teacher, creative, writer - or just a great storyteller.

We invite new perspectives and voices in our monthly story circle where we listen to a guest sharing inspiration.

As a member you get invited to our online events, such as Story Circles, storytelling courses and masterclasses. Hopefully you would also like to contribute and lead a Story Circle.
You get access to our Story Canvases - so you can hold your own workshops and two hours of professional coaching.

Story circle

Stories are meant to be shared, and in the circle we talk about storytelling as a craft. We invite professionals to share their practice on how to create, teach, write, manifest and spread stories.
‍
Our aim is to build a community around the art of storytelling. The purpose is learn from each other, inspire and grow our skills.
‍
The Story Circle is an online 90-minute format that is free and online. There are different themes and guests. If we have a large number of participants, breakout rooms will be arranged.

At Impact by Stories, we work with authentic stories.

We know everyone has a story that others can relate to.
Our step-by-step methods to generate stories can be applied to personal storytelling, brand and marketing communication, leadership, teaching, and recruitment.

We visualized the process in a canvas, which is an overview of the steps you take to create a story. Download the canvas as your worksheet, or attend a guided course.The canvases are under a Creative Commons license.

My story canvas

The My Story Canvas is an iterative process that helps you surface and source material from your life and turn experiences into compelling and moving 5-10-minute stories presented orally. The canvas prompts you to discover stories you never told before, and the writing becomes an adventure in itself.
